Sailfish grows quickly, reaching 1.2 to 1.5 meters in length in a single year, and feed on the surface or at mid-depths on smaller pelagic fishes and squid. Sailfish is highly prized game fish which known for their incredible jumps and speed. Individuals have been clocked at speeds of up to 68.5 mph (110.285 km/h), making them the fastest fish in the ocean.

With our experienced skipper armed with local knowledge multiple strikes are always possible, especially during the peak season start from July to November. The strike rate is unbelievable high and comparable to other hotspots around the world but it won’t cost you an arm and a leg. This is the ultimate destination to fulfill your dream of landing a sailfish many times over.The season runs from April to November. There are many more species available at Kuala Rompin like Dorado (dolphin fish), Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Barracuda, Giant Trevally, Golden Trevally, Queenfish and much more. Squid jigging is also another option. With fine weather and calm waters, it’s a fisherman’s paradise. Charters start at 8am and end around 5pm. The fishing hotspots are only a short 45 – 60 mins run out from the jetty, you will have lots of time to tangle with the fish of your dreams. This is a truly amazing experience!
